This week, you'll learn how to use Excel to create your 'Stock Portfolio' and manage all your stock data in a single sheet!
The beauty of this process is that stock data can be updated automatically using a hidden function that not many people know about –
'STOCKHISTORY'!
This function allows you to retrieve stock data directly into Excel, including:
0 = Date, 1 = Close, 2 = Open, 3 = High, 4 = Low, 5 = Volume
You can specify the time interval as well:
0 = daily, 1 = weekly, 2 = monthly
Follow the steps in the tutorial to retrieve the data, with a special trick to TRANSPOSE the stock data.
To enhance your portfolio, add a trend line at the beginning for a polished finish!
Now, you are able to create your first stock portfolio in Excel! Enjoy!
